A believer is redeemed a maledictione, from the curse due to sin. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us” (Gal 3:13). Christ said to his Father, as Rebecca to Jacob, “Upon me, upon me be the curse; let the blessing be upon them, but upon me be the curse.” And now, there is no condemnation to believers.
